Your Take on Gretzky
It is to early to really know what happened with Gretzky and his wife. I find it hard to believe that a woman gambles huge, and a husband doesn’t know about it. I would think that she is betting for him, but who knows?
I do know that both of them are huge gamblers in Vegas. Gretzky a bigger gambler as the rumor has it than his wife and is a “whale” in Las Vegas. Having a credit line in the millions.
So, will this hurt Gretzky’s image, or not?
Gretzky knows his wife is a heavy gambler, but as long as they have the money, I guess it doesn’t matter how much they spend in Las Vegas. As long as they don’t bet on hockey, it’s really none of anyone’s business. This will certainly hurt his All-Canadian/Amrican image as being untouchable clean, but hey, he’s still one of the greatest of all-time and everyone will have to just get over it. Fans can’t live through their sports heroes forever.
