Kobe Bryant the Jerk

Kobe Bryant once again has proven that he is a jerk. Kobe throws a nasty elbow so that he can prove a point. It is unfortanate for the NBA and the world that players can not be more like Tim Duncan of the San Antonio Spurs. No, if they are like Duncan, they don’t get the audience, so people like Kobe can continue their terrible teamwork, and their assaults. Tim Duncan, Bruce Bowen don’t get ratings, so the worse you are, the better. Of course you take it too far and you get the boot i.e. Ron Artest. Kobe Bryant Lakers elbow Suspension
Kobe gets suspended for 2 games, which will cost him about 300 thousand, a slap on the wrist compared to what Ron Artest would have received. Kobe assaults someone, and once again shows why the NBA is the National Brawlers Association.
The NBA needs teamwork, that is what will gather crowds. It also wins games. Look at the Detroit Pistons, who are winning because they have 5 team players. Look at the San Antonio Spurs, teamwork at its best. They are champions. But, the media likes bad boys because they gather crowds. Why nor promote good teamwork, and then our kids can grow up with real heros, and not criminals.

  1. Are you kidding, kobe assults someone else. Mike Miller was wrong for hitting Kobe with his dirty elbow first. I dont agree what kobe did but Mike MIller was dirty for what he did and got it coming. Kobe is the best shooting guard in the league and besides the false accusations against him in Colorado he’s also a model citizen

  3. When you swing your arm I don’t believe thats an accident. It’s like Shaq when he swings his elbow when shooting, that’s not an accident… MIke Miller’s elbow swing I don’t think was an accident

  4. I think it is clear that he did not do it on purpose. It is also clear that Kobe did it on purpose. He said so himself. GUILTY. I think he should have been hit with a much stiffer punishment. Let’s clean up basketball so we can watch skill and not thugs.

  5. Every elbow is somewhat on purpose in the NBA. Most teams will tell you that the paint is their area and you’re always taught to never let someone come down the lane unimpeded. You always foul the offense and let them earn it at the free throw line. San Antonio does the same thing, believe me.

  6. Miller’s elbow was an accident. Revenge is okay, but an elbow to the throat is not the right place. Hard fouls happen, but messing with someone’s throat is out of line.

  7. In pro ball, when you intend to throw an elbow, you tend not to paint a bullseye to try and make sure exactly where you’ll hit them. That’s part of the game and what happens is going to happen. He got suspended and is paying the price for doing what they all do in the NBA. It’s not a Kobe thing, it’s what everyone does. Ask David Robinson when Karl Malone knocked him out in his Utah days. The NBA is not for the weak or anyone could play in the Show.
